Financial Rights Raperda Preparation Needs Kemendagri Assistance

City Council will keep asking Home Affairs Ministry (Kemendagri) assistance during regulation draft (Raperda) preparation about Financial Rights and Administrative For Council Chairman and Members.

We need assistance from Kemendagri in order to prevent any failure in preparing this raperda

"We need assistance from Kemendagri in order to prevent any failure in preparing this raperda," said Abraham Lunggana, Head of City Council's Draft Regulation Formation Board (Bapemperda), Wednesday (8/9).

He explained his side needs assistance considering there are specific things that needed to be solved thus can be included in the Article.

Council Appreciates Governor Support Towards Financial Rights Raperda

He gives an example for Article 30 in Government Regulation (PP) No. 18/2017 that mentioned Jakarta as Capital is not included in special regional, such as Aceh and Yogyakarta.

"Though it is clear that Jakarta has a specialty in accordance with Law (UU) 29/2007 about Nation's Capital," he said.

Based on it, he admitted will inform Kemendagri to re-analyze the Articles inside Law. He also asks Kemendagri to consider his request regarding expert procurement for each Council members.

"We needs experts because we are not having council at municipality level or level two. While our financial is at level seven," he closed.
